How Streakia handles information.
Last updated October 23, 2026. This page describes Streakia and this website.
Who is responsible
From GCYD Incorporated.
GCYD Incorporated is the company behind Streakia. For support or privacy questions, email greg@streakia.com.
App records are held locally
Streakia uses an on-device store. It can hold:
- five assessment-derived starting scores, your priority and time budget, display name, settings, and locally cached purchase access;
- habits, schedules, target amounts, check-ins, and skips;
- goals, target dates or counts, linked habits, progress entries, photos, and archive state; and
- journal entries and achievements.
Individual quiz answers are used to calculate starting scores but are not saved as separate records. Streaks, milestones, statistics, and challenge progress are calculated locally from saved records.
The app has no app-owned account, backend, cloud sync, or in-app export. It does not send your habits, goals, journal entries, quiz answers, or scores to GCYD Incorporated or anyone else. Starting with version 1.1, the app uses three outside services: one for subscriptions, one for advertising measurement and one for usage analytics. All three are described below.
Goal photos
When you select a goal photo through the system photo picker, the app processes it locally, downsamples it to a maximum 1600-pixel dimension, and stores the resulting JPEG in its local store. There is no app photo-upload path.
Resetting Streakia does not remove the original from your Photos library. Operating-system copies and backups may also remain.
Reminders and widgets
Habit reminders and evening off-track alerts use local notifications. There is no remote push server. You can change reminder settings in the app and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
The app shares a local snapshot with its Home Screen widgets through on-device storage. This is not a cloud feed.
Purchases use Apple and RevenueCat
Apple’s App Store processes purchases and restorations and handles payment information under Apple’s policies. Starting with version 1.1, RevenueCat, Inc. manages subscription status for us. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription history, an anonymous app user ID, your device’s identifiers, and which subscription screen you viewed. It does not receive your payment-card details. The app also caches purchase access locally. RevenueCat’s privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Advertising measurement with Meta
Starting with version 1.1, Streakia uses Meta’s software development kit and RevenueCat’s Meta integration to measure which ads bring people to the app. Meta receives app opens, how long you used the app, trial starts, subscription purchases, device identifiers, and your IP address. From version 1.3, on iPhones set to the US App Store, Meta’s software starts when you open the app, and until you allow tracking its events carry no advertising identifier and are marked as not tracked. Elsewhere it starts only after you answer Apple’s tracking prompt. Streakia asks once, in Apple’s “Allow tracking?” prompt. If you allow tracking, this includes your device’s advertising identifier. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” it does not. You can change your answer any time in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. Meta’s privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Product analytics with Amplitude
Starting with version 1.1, Streakia uses Amplitude, Inc. to see which screens people reach and where they stop, so we can fix what confuses them. Amplitude receives which screens you view, what you tap on the subscription screen, whether you allowed notifications, when you check in, how long the subscription screen took to load, the app version, and the anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat also uses. It does not receive your habits, goals, journal entries, quiz answers, scores or name. The app tells Amplitude not to record your IP address or location, and does not send your device’s vendor identifier. RevenueCat also sends your trial and subscription events to Amplitude.
You can turn this off at any time in Settings → “Share app usage analytics”. When it is off, the app sends Amplitude nothing. RevenueCat still sends your subscription events to Amplitude under one shared user, and each event still carries RevenueCat’s anonymous app user ID. Amplitude’s privacy policy: amplitude.com/privacy.
Deleting your information
To delete your app records, use Reset everything in Streakia’s settings or delete the app. Because records stay on your device, GCYD Incorporated holds no copy of them to delete. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Starting with version 1.1, RevenueCat holds purchase records for us. To ask for their deletion, email greg@streakia.com and we will pass the request to RevenueCat.
To ask us to delete a support email you sent, write to greg@streakia.com.
Reset, retention, and backup limits
Reset everything removes active habits, goals, challenges, and journal entries; resets profile progress; cancels local notifications; and clears the widget snapshot. It preserves locally cached purchase access.
Reset acts on the active app store. If that store cannot open, the app may keep renamed recovery files while starting a fresh store. Operating-system copies and backups may remain. Streakia has no app-owned backup, sync, or export feature. Restoring a purchase does not restore local tracking records.
Website hosting and support email
These static pages have no custom form, signup flow, app analytics, or marketing tracker. OpenAI hosts the website through ChatGPT Sites. Its Sites terms and data-processing addendum describe hosting-related processing, which may include log data, usage data, device information, and data from cookies or similar technologies. Exact public-site cookie behavior and host log retention have not been verified. We do not claim that either is absent.
If you email greg@streakia.com, your message may include your email address and whatever information you choose to send. The mailbox uses Google Workspace. Support messages have no routine deletion schedule and may remain in the mailbox indefinitely.
